This time of year usually comes just as our African weather turns cold. To our surprise, we are almost half way through April and it is still so hot. Our Easter tradition starts a few days before with the decorating of our Easter tree. This year we have pure wool Easter eggs to hang. Our gardener John, made our tree and gave it a white wash paint over. Then the night before Easter Sunday, the children gather their baskets, their night gowns and their boots and place them at the tree all ready for the early morning egg hunt. Our Easter bunny in our meadow, leaves the eggs in our fruit and vegetable orchard. We have a special breakfast or lunch and it is a time of reflection and peace. This year Andrew and I decided to get the children Angora rabbits. Emma, Lilly and Grace. They have a three fold mission. Angora fleece for me. I would love to start spinning, Rabbit droppings for Andrews earthworms and beautiful soft cuddly pets for the children. Happy Easter too all.
