My dear friends~

I saved so many photographs and ideas for my last blog post of this wonderful year. I live in the South African highveld where the weather is renound for its spectaclar thunder storms at this time of year. Well, one big bolt of lightning struck our home and down went my computer..I would love to wish you all personally via email but all my addresses are on my computer. I have missed this space and realised how much this world has become a part of me..My father in law has lent me his lap top for a milli-second to wish you all a wonderful Christmas day tomorrow. I send all my love and look forward to a wonderful new year of friendships.

Love to you

merry christmas to you and your family!! i am thrilled to have connected with you in this space and the joy and beauty you share here continue to warm my heart.

nils was a huge hit!! she loves on him constantly and is really eating the book up. they sit together (her and nils) while i read to them. too sweet! thanks so much for being a part of our holiday magic!

i, too, have suffered technical difficulties that left me without a computer for a bit and it was strange. having become so connected to this space and the friendships we have formed here it is hard to go without (for me). enjoy your computer free time with your family though!! big holiday hugs to you!! ;)

Dear Suzanne, Have a very special day with your wonderful family. I can imagine the beautiful photos you and your family had to share with us, I remember the beautiful African skies so well. Last night we wrapped the last gifts and put little baby in his straw bed. My little boys who woke very early this morning excited to open their small gifts around the Christmas tree. Fabien had left a trampoline at the stables so we went on a little treasure hunt for it. Visiting the ducks, cows and horses along the way. Many blessings Suzanne, love Jeanene

So very sorry to read of your mishap with the computer, I know we have so much of our lives on these things. The most important thing is that no one was hurt.

I learned to keep an external hard drive and download things dear to me. I hope some how you have a computer place there thay maybe can work on retrieving info off the HD.

I will be back later to read your blog and say hello from the cold part of the USA.... I know soon enough we will have our hot summers and wish for this cold weather. Me, I like the cold and snow.

God's Blessings

Dear Suzanne,

The package containing my new book (Toad Cottages) and Tasha Tudor's autographed cook book were sent last week.

Unfortunately, I had to remove a note and a small faerie booklet because just that little bit would've made the cost of sending them over $40.00!! I had to do a reality check.

Sending love and hoping you'll soon be posting again.

Happy green wishes,
