This is me...and my other half... Mr Darcy

This might seem like a strange brief post. One that probably does not bother many as it has me..I have never felt comfortable with photographs of myself. Today I have decided to show you all a photo of Andrew and I. How silly I have been. This blog is for my children and any wonderful friend that decides to follow. I eventually want to turn my blog into a book and how sad it would be if I were not in it! So, come rain or shine, bad hair day, night gown on, pimple on the ol' chin, a little weight gain here or there, no make up....I have decided that I will be present. Be proud to put myself out there .... Mr Darcy is not getting away either. Today I decided to show what he looks like early in the morning!...(hee hee)

A happy weekend to all~

Yay! So nice to meet you guys! In picture form, but none the less. I was like that too, not trying to show too much. Then there was the first photography workshop I did, and the fourth assignment was self portraits. Well I took the plunge, and let me tell you it is very freeing and has kinda changed the way I feel about myself. Enjoy your weekend!!

Adorable! And oh my goodness, Suzanne, you could be one of my cousins - or even sisters. I'm serious! How delightful to see you and Andrew both!

Suzanne, it must have been blogger or something. :0) Anyway, I said you look lovely!! And it's funny how if you never see someone and kind of "get to know them" online, then you see their picture, they are often not how you imagine. I said that I always envisioned you as an older lady. :0) I don't know why I did, I just did.

Anyway, thanks for sharing yourself! It was fun to see you and your husband.
Blessings~

I guess it was blogger acting up. (It's doing it again today as I try to write this comment! ARGH!) Anyway, I said you look lovely. And it's funny how when you have never seen someone but you've kind of "gotten to know them" online and then you see a picture, they are often not how you imagined them. For instance, I always thought you were an older lady. I don't know why, that is just how I always envisioned you.
:0)

Thanks for sharing yourself and your hubby with us, it's fun to finally see you!!
Blessings~

Hi Jenn

Oh my I got both this time~! Thank you so much for the compliment..I also conjure up faces and ages to bloggers..It is so funny how some of us hide . I do understand therefore I did not want photographs of myself until now..Anyhow, I think 40 is starting to hike up the old mountain don't you think...All those balls of wool and knitting needles. My gosh.. Andrew sometimes looks over at me when I am knitting, sometimes with my tongue hanging out slightly in concentration. He shakes his head and I just know what he is thinking....Its nice to be in the middle age..inbetween there.

Have a great day Jenn
Warm regards
Suzanne

Suzanne! You're beautiful! And brave! I feel the same way, and rarely, if ever, show pics of myself. I also do not ever show pics of my kids....I guess I don't trust the evil that is out in the world. Will have to think about this.....
