Feeding the soul

I have mentioned in a few posts that my beloved and I do a 5km walk every morning around a beautiful pan. The pan is a bird sanctuary loved by the residents in our area. The birds leave and land in flocks. The chattering is like a symphony to my ears. We are woken up by the calls of so many birds. As we walk, we breath in all the simple goodness life has to offer. Our bodies and souls feel rejuvenated to start our day. Our souls do need care and love. I have been spinning like crazy trying to get all those over spins to a point of control. If you have ever spun, you will know what I am talking about. Those gorgeous fibers are getting ready to become Winter beanies, scarves and gloves. We had a wonderful relaxed Valentines day. Brogan made honey comb and prepared pink parcels wrapped with ribbon. We ate our Valentines breakfast in our PJ's...The girls helped decorate our veranda table and once again a celebration filled our home.

I would like to thank all those lovely blogging Mommies who have made swaps with me this past week...I am not too sure about you but there is allot of crafting going on here.~ The lovely Fairy swap hosted by Melissa(see her swap badge on my side bar) has been sent off with fairy magic kisses. The exciting Valentine Swap over at Gardenmama is creating quite a stir with all the love being put into them. It is all such wonderful fun.

I wish you all a pleasant peaceful week end. Please remember to feed your soul with the beauty that surrounds you.

Love and blessings
Suzanne

That may be one of the most perfect places for a morning walk with your love that I have ever seen. Ever. It is so pretty. Blessings on your lovely valentine, and your tranquil morning ritual.

What a wonderful spot to have breakfast. It nice to hear about being outside in the warm weather right now while it's sleeting here.

Yes, feeding the soul, how important it is to be quiet and still, and at peace with Mother Nature, looking and listening to her gentle breathing. Cheers Marie

What a wonderful to start your day! Thank you for sharing so much prettiness! I love the valentine parcels, the embroidered ribbons... and your yarn is so beautiful! I think the one on the bottom with all the pretty spring colors is my favorite.
Have a happy weekend with your family! Lots of love, Renee

After seeing these photos I must make a promise to myself to spend as many holiday's as I can in a different hemisphere. I never thought about the idea of celebrating V-Day in Summer!! How lovely. You folks down under really do get the best holidays to celebrate in the Summer..in my opinion anyway!

I love your outside table. We bought a table at the end of fall last year, when it started getting really dreary outside. So we haven't taken it out to use it yet, but I'm looking forward to lots of meals and crafting outside in the spring and summer. The first picture - with the sunshine! - is beautiful too.
