Our Many blessings

Our many blessing burst forth every new day as Spring slowly ends and Summer is not too far away. Our week has been a busy one and towards the end a very cold and rainy one. I captured this picture of my Eldest daughter Brogan (the meaning of her name is " Pearl" ) this week. I am taken by this photo as she tries to look up at me with the sun on her face. I see a beautiful young woman emerging in this special child. I am taken by her beauty and genuine goodness...I am blessed. Our Berries and my Boy picking them has been a daily activity. He finds his spot amongst the nasty thorns and finds the biggest blackest treasures to share. Our orchard is bearing the most heavenly vegetables and fruit. I thank the generous earth , abundant rain and the shining golden Sun for giving us such healthy goodness. My little noodle is growing and the only reason why she features so much is that she nearly died when we got her and I am so blessed that she is here. A happy little pup.

I do hope you all find the blessings of your week as I did mine. I promise, I do not have the perfect life but I squeeze every ounce of good blessing that comes my way...hold onto it and that helps us get through the tougher days.

A happy blessed weekend to you all. XX

Lovely, Suzanne! Your garden and orchard are so beautiful, as are your children. It is true that we all have so much to be thankful for - all we have to do is look around us and open our eyes to the beauty that is there. Thank you for such a sweet reminder of gratitude!

Hi Suzanne
This is such a wonderful post - I really love all that you wrote. Your words truly resonate with me. Your Brogan is a beautiful girl. Your children have a very special mama whom I would love to meet one day. Just look at all that goodness in your garden!

Hi, Suzanne. It was fun to see your beautiful gardens today, and everything looking so lush. Your comments about Brogan make me wish I could show you a pastel painting I did of my daughter when she was transitioning away from girlhood. Her silhouette is all green, as though covered with new grass, and she emerges from water, energy color shooting all around her. Thank you for sharing the story of your grandfather and the need for glasses by many Africans. Have a wonderful day. love, Beth

Oh, what a lovely yard you have! Those gardens are absolutely beautiful. Loved the photos of Brogan, your son, and little Noodle. Noodle has a special place in our hearts clear over here in Idaho, USA. ;)

What a beautiful post. I remember looking at my daughter at about the same age Brogan is now and thinking this is a little woman version of her. They grow so quickly,I'm glad you captured that moment.
The garden is looking divine. Here's to your abundance and goodness from the garden.
