My heirloom crochet throw.

I received my crochet throw today which someone had made for me. Many pure wool balls and hours later, this is the beautiful heirloom throw that I intend to pass down to my children. It is so soft and heavy just in time for our cold Winter nights. I am so thrilled with how it came out. Can't wait to snuggle up tonight....

Hi Suzanne
Your throw is so beautiful. Goodness, you are a creative mama. A wonderful inspiration! I am a beginner crocheter. My mom crochets beautifully. I so love crochet. I have two very beautiful crochet throws made by two very special women in Kariba. Their crochet throws tell a whole story of the lake, the flowers that grow in the area, etc. Do you remember those amazing women that sit happily together under the trees working their magic..?

Hello to you all

I had my first night under the new heirloom and boy did it get hot under there. I can see why sheep can stay out in the cold. Thank you so much for the lovely compliment Nichole. Linds, thank you so much for all that beautiful wool. Ariad, I remember seeing your gorgeous throw you made. I wish I was that talented. I intend to better myself at working with that crochet hook. Kelly, I have so many memories of the Zimabwean women crocheting table cloths and bed spreads. I still get some Women coming to our door selling their beautiful craft. Anyway I hope to full my home with woolen items made for or by me. I find a bed that has the layered look, is so inviting to jump into...

Have a wonderful evening
Warm regards
Suzanne
