Saint George's Day Celebration

Happy Saint George's day to all our British Visitors. Today we had a wonderful day celebrating Saint George and the Dragon. We had High Tea. We ate cucumber sandwiches and drank five roses tea. We baked little dragon breads in our wood burning fire place. Olivia painted a shield. We read a lovely book with beautiful written words. The children did a drama poem called "St George and the dragon. We really do love our celebrations..

Hi there

Thank you. I do have special little gnomies living in my home. You will see I often blog posts on the Bug Man..he has a passion and talent for finding nature treasures. Brogan is a beauty. Sensitive and special. My little Livy is 6 going on 13. Sings like a little angel and dances like a fairy. I love having them at home with me. I love to watch their lives unfold before me..We had a great celebration today. I get as excited as they do. Just wish we could have invited the Queen today..Thats all that was missing!

Lovely to chat to you
Regards
Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,
You guys had a lovely celebration! Your children are wonderful. Your bread looks yummy. Festivals and celebrations are so enriching and fun, aren't they? There is always something to celebrate and enjoy to the full - as it should be. I also get so excited and had so much fun flapping about and roaring like a dragon today. I got knocked on the head a few times by those fearsome knights especially the littlest one - lol! This is just the best and life is good!
Best wishes Kelly

What a lovely day! As always, the peace and beauty of your home and family shines through - so inspiring. What fun it must be to sit in your inviting kitchen and sip tea, nibble sandwiches, and talk the afternoon away...

Hi Kelly

I love the crafting for days before and then the coming together of that celebration. I find life definitely more enriched because of them. I hope my children have fond memories of them in years to come.

Nothing like a dragon bonk on the head hey!

Hello Beth

Sometimes I do just close my eyes and imagine having tea with my blogging Moms. Wish it was that simple. We still have to make a date to bottle jam together.. and as always, your words are very kind. Thank you
