Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow............
For some of you, this post would seem pretty regular but for us here, seeing snow is something quite special. We waited the whole day for possible snow and then just at the end of the day, it came down fast and furiously and then silently calmly, gentle snowflakes fell to the ground. I stood on my veranda watching a winter wonderland unfold . What an experience for our family~ one we lost ourselves way into the night....thank you thank you...these children have been wishing for snow for years~ a dream come true ! Hows that for a snowman I did have a laugh!...a character all on its own! a little animal like actually , gnomey! X
Oh it looks so beautiful. My family is all in South Africa and I have been enjoying seeing all the photos. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! It looks so pretty. Glad your children got to have a chance to play in the snow this winter!
ReplyDeleteI remember once in California we had snow--that doesn't happen very often, and the girls were just ecstatic over seeing it. However, for me, it was nice that it melted quickly:-D I'm glad your children had a chance to experience it; all children should have that experience.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and enjoy your winter, dear friend XOXO
How wonderful! It must have been a joyous winter wonderland!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you guys Suzanne! Snow is indeed magical - not just for the children but us too! My family back in SA have all been posting their pics on FB - I think the last time it snowed was 1981 - I was in gr2 living in Pretoria!
ReplyDeleteHow amazing is that! The photos are exquisite. Love that you all got your wish.
ReplyDeletehow wonderful for you all, what special memeories this made! i didn't realize it snowed there suzanne. i love seeing your beautiful home and your even more beautiful children. keep warm!
ReplyDeleteSnow! My first response was to shudder, having far too few weeks left before it flies in abundance again in our neck of the woods. But then I read how rare of an experience it is for you. Such a delight! And that snow fella is an absolute charmer.
ReplyDeleteBlessings...
Dear Suzanne,
ReplyDeletethe snow makes your home look even more magical than usual! Elsa and I gazed in wonder at all your photos, and smiled at how much fun the kids are having. We also have children that wish for snow, but I don't think it has snowed here since the 1920's! It has come close, but never quite as far south as our town.
Jared still talks about the perfect afternoon he spent with you all! I will show him the pictures - he will be delighted :)
Much love to you all!
xoxo
