My Country Bathroom

Its not too often that one gets to renovate a bathroom. My years of browsing through the country and living magazines have inspired this little space in my home. This is the place I get to ponder and plan, rest and gather my thoughts.. this bathroom is minus my dear bath. Still waiting patiently for it to arrive. Promised to me time and time again by our builder. Maybe someday soon~ My curtains are a 'Sandersons' Floral. Heavy linen. I just love them. My cabinet holds my collection of soaps. Such a treat to open up and use now and again. I have plans to light this space with candles, scatter rose petals and soak in lavender oil...Can't wait~!

Suzanne, You just brought back a memory of Kelly--she adored taking a bath. It was her refuge where she could read a book or catch up on gossip from one of the movie magazines:-D Your renovation is exquisite and I can just imagine you soaking after a long day with candles burning and scents of rose petals. Too bad it's not a good place to knit--LOL!! Love you dear friend, XOXO

My word, simply being in that gorgeous bathroom of yours must be relaxing, let alone taking a bath (when it comes) in it.

So beautiful.

Thank you all

I have waited almost 1 year for that bath....So this post is actually a longing for my bath post.. My builder ran into financial problems even though we payed up front..so we are promised every week now that it will arrive.

A happy day to you

That new set-up for your bathroom will make everyday seem like it is spring, mostly because of the flowery curtains and the decorative pot. What I liked the most here is the flock of birds scattered in the perfume cabinet. If only they can chirp as live ones do, then it would surely feel like spring there. Anyway, when will they put the bath tub?

Hi Suzanne! Yes, your bathroom will look even more beautiful with lit candles. The curtain makes the entire area even cozier. Wow, that's a huge soap collection, and those birds are a nice touch. :)
