Olivia's country bedroom

The little wink wink comment from little Elsa over at the lovely 'Road to joy ' blog did not go unnoticed. Today I have decided to show Elsa, who has become our dear little friend,..Olivia's Bedroom. Olivia and Elsa started swapping notes and treasures sometime ago and although distance is in the way, we would love Elsa to know that our home is always open for a play date should she ever travel across the miles.I have also shown Liv's beautiful Waldorf dolls brought from Nancy at "dragonflyshollow" on Etsy. Olivia's room some how seems to be the biggest room in the house. Wooden floored with lovely floral lined curtains that drop from the ceiling. Her bed is an old french antique bed dated back to King Louis XIV that has found its way into our home. She calls it her princess bed. I have brought and re vamped her old vintage pram and cot. Olivia's room faces the old Pride of India tree in our courtyard. In Summer, the blossoms are so heavily laden on the tree that it looks like Liv is in garden paradise. The branches bend down to one of her windows and it feels like she lives in a tree house. You can just imagine where her dreams must take her. Please enjoy as you wonder through Liv's room. As always we love to have you visit..

Oh Suzanne~I just love Olivia's bedroom! And, I want to tell you how much Ari loved his crown. He was so funny when he put it on, he said,"King!" When his dad said, "You're the Prince," Ari replied, emphatically, "NO, KING!!" We had a good laugh and I love seeing Ari smile again. Also, the doll is magnificent; I wish I could knit as well as you. My sister keeps telling me when I move closer, she will pass on everything she knows...which is incredible.
Enjoy the World Cup, much love, Susan

Oh my look at Jeremy the Frog! What a calm and serene bedroom! That is something I want to provide for my foursome(and also help them provide such an atmosphere for themselves). Christmas lights can't be beat can they? Thanks for the tour.

Hello dear friend,
A beautiful room for a very beautiful princess. She must have lots of happy times in that room. How I love your description of the tree with the blossoms right outside Olivia's bedroom. It does sound like an enchanting treehouse leading into an enchanting land of dreams and imagination.
Happy weekend,
Love
Kelly

This is such a lovely space. I love the light in your house. It's so cozy. thanks for stopping by the blog to say hello. It's been just crazy lately and I've really missed stopping by to visit. I hope your solstice was fantastic. I loved your hoedown. That looked like so much fun. We are heading to Sweden in a couple of days and so we will be blogging from there. I can hardly wait. Be well and happy with your lovely family. Big hugs to you Suzanne.

Elsa has been visiting her cousins, so just now got to see Livy's room. Here is what she says...
"Dear Livy, your room is very pretty! I really like it. I love the chandeliers! I want to go to your house someday, it's so beautiful. Love, Elsa"
