Spinning, dyeing and pickin peaches

Spinning, dyeing and pickin peaches is what I have been busy with this week. I am slowly gaining confidence with my spinning wheel and am really enjoying it. I still over spin a little but I am sure this goes with practice. I also dyed my own wool which came out really nicely. Those rich Royal purples really inspire me. We have also been picking and eating peaches. We have one peach tree in the orchard that ripens early November. This is always a treat for us . I have also been organising my studio getting it ready so that I can work with a clear space and mind. I look forward to making new and inspired things for my shop next year. THese little meadow bunnies are growing like topsy. All eyes are open now . We often wake up early to check on them in the orchard and find a little one sneaking a little hop away from its nest. This week they should be able to start eating solid foods. So , it has been another busy week for us. I am still spending lots of time getting our homemade christmas gifts ready. My whole family have decided to join me and I am really excited to see everyones hidden talents...

Okay, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around your seasons. So strange to see that you are picking peaches in November. I guess I figured it would be the exact opposite of here. So much to learn.

Those bunnies are really growing! I am so excited that you are sharing this as my husband vetoed my request for a bunny. He acts like I take on too many projects or something. lol

BEAUTIFUL yarn!

Your handpsun is perfectly gorgeous. I especially like the one with the silvery blues and browns. Yummy! Everything else is yummy, too!

Suzanne!....Your spinning looks fantastic! I love the colors! You're doing a great job!!!
I just sorted out my fleeces today. They've been sitting in the barn since May. Now I need to clean and card them!
I'm so happy for you and your spinning success!

Thank you dear friends

I am really enjoying spinning. I just have to find a way to dye my roving to spin. I find the Etsy roving sellers are just so very clever with their incredible use of color. It will be tough to follow but it is very pricey indeed to carry on buying...

My bunnies are getting cuter by the day. Really adorable.

Thank you all so much for popping by.

Warm regards
Suzanne

There is always so much beauty in your days! The peaches are incredible, how lovely to have them in your yard I can almost taste them now! And those sweet little bunnies, after I showed your photos of them to my daughter she has asked me each day if we can look at them again : )

The bunnies are so cute. I want to just give them a little hug. It's so odd,for me that is,to see you picking peaches when I'm just trying to stay warm. I just harvested the last of the apples. Your handspun is so wonderful and beautiful. We are making all of our christmas presents as well. Here's to some great creating. Take Care.
