This weekend we decided to visit our favorite Nursery called "The Four Seasons". We love this nursery as it is so relaxed and homely. Everyone picked out some seedlings and enjoyed the hot day. We then spent the afternoon planting and had friends over for our first braai (barbecue) of the Season. The girls helped decorate a lovely festive table. It was market day today . I found some lovely linen and crochet pieces. I also found a lovely crocheted bag. Definitely waiting for some Summer cotton knitting to place in there.

I love your linen and crochet finds, the Nursery looks like a lovely place to visit
The lace is so pretty, and so is the crochet bag! Did you make that? Looks like spring is off to a terrific start with the planting and the barbecue. I love the bunting!
I'm going to have so much fun watching you enjoy spring while we start putting on sweaters and collecting pretty-colored leaves! I love your crocheted bag and linens! I have a soft spot for old linens, especially old linen "towels" which were hung by the wash bowl and pitcher long ago. I like to use them as guest towels. The fancy little hanky-sized guest towels you can buy are insufficient!
Lovely, Suz, have I mentioned I'm in love with your house???
Those old linens are wonderful...
Blessings and magic.
Morning Suzanne,
What a pleasant weekend you all enjoyed. You know, I miss those African braais with friends and family. We have braais here but there is no boerwors which is an essential ingredient - and no African sun! That crochet bag is gorgeous - just my sort of thing!! Have a lovely week, dear friend!
looks like a wonderful day
The crocheted bag is so pretty...what a nice find! We are headed into autumn, and it's so fun to see the opposite season on the opposite side of the world. What a beautiful world we live in...
Oh.. the linens and crocheted lace... the first picture is my favorite!
Good morning .
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. The lace bag was a realy find. It was under the pile of crochet finds. So I believe myself to be lucky at getting the bag for $1.50. Donni, Thank you..
Oh Kelly, you are right . With all the rugby going on, you can imagine all the braaing taking place under the South African Sun.
Hi Beth I have a great plans with these pieces.
Thank you all for popping by
Have a great Day
Warm regards
Suzanne
I am enjoying your spring posts and will look to them as Beth also said as we are putting on our sweaters and warming ourselves by the woodstove. The lace is beautiful and your bag is so lovely! I think you and I would enjoy a thrifting outing together! : )
oh, spring! That seems far away around these parts, as we're heading into the rhythms and festival fun of fall (I do so love this season though)....but it is nice to know I can come here and get my dose of green:)
