Orange Bag Hair

I found my little livy gazing over the lavender bushes with an orange bag on her head. "What is that on your head Olivia"? Mom it's my LONG hair... I just love it. Being my last little one, I often find myself watching her every move. Do I see myself in her as a little girl. Yes definitely.

I have left the unveiling of my new jigger and stone mill because quite frankly it looked rather scary...I have now studied the ins and outs and feel quite confident that I can make a good loaf of organic stone milled bread. This week we have plans in action to find someone to build us a dutch oven outside. There is just nothing that can beat a good loaf of homemade bread. I will be sharing my project with you as we go along.

Hello dear Suzanne
those delightul pictures of Olivia with her long orange hair have touched my heart! Just the sweetest thing! Give her an extra big cuddle. Your mill looks fantastic. I am intrigued and will look forward to updates on how you get on with such a fantastic tool. Have a wonderful day, dear friend.

Those are beautiful red, flowing tresses. You also have me on the 'good loaf of homemade bread' bit. But I might need help identifying which is the top and which is the tail of the new jigger!

Hi Suzanne, Thank you for sharing in the waldorf spirit, homeschooling adventures, and creative striving! Cute orange bag hair - what a Celtic pixie might look like. Write a verse please on Steiner, and I will post it, along with a chance to receive a syrendell snail!

She is too cute : )
When I was little I used to pretend my winter hats with long ties on either side was my 'long hair'
Your mill looks great, I am happy you posted about it!
Enjoy your days Suzanne!

Hi Suzanne, At first glance I thought you had made one of the gnome hats! But then I looked closer, very funny... little girls are such fun.
The mill is beautiful. I bake all of our bread, but certainly do not grind the grain. How wonderful!

Hi Suzanne,
What a beautiful mill! I love to cook and bake with grains that we've grown and ground....very satisfying! I am happy that you've decided to get a spinning wheel! I do have roving available just let me know.
Have a nice day,
Sara
