My Vintage "Lizzy" dress

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this old dress at the antique market today. This is what I would classify as my "Lizzy" dress. I am a great Jane Austen fan and Elizabeth Bennett is who I strongly identify with in the world of Jane Austen. I plan on wearing this lovely number with a pair of boots! But before I do that , I have to prepare Andrew who finds my " Pride and Prejudice " world a little strange.....

  10. LOL, Suz... I sometimes need to prepare my Good Man too! I've become more 'out there' since he married me but, luckily, I do make him laugh! He came home the other day to see me gardening in K's 'prairie' bonnet... it was just so good for keeping the sun off my face :-)
Thanks for posting on 'Friday's Nature Table'.
    Blessings and magic.

  17. Thanks for stopping by my blog, although you came to it at an unusual time, because I've abandoned it for my old blog. However, I am so very glad I found your blog and I am completely jealous of you Lizzy dress. Jane Austen would be pleased.
