finding a little country

Today I was on a mission to find a little bit of rural country in my home town. We decided to take the children on a "lets take a ride and see what we can find" trip. I live in a suburb on a lovely piece of land but its not the country. So, off we went stopping at every spot that felt like we were away from it all. We had the most glorious day of adventure. I was clicking away and Aaron found an ant hill, the girls were oohing and aahing about scenery and dad enjoyed the ride. Its days like these that make memories.

Suzanne, Looks like a fun time was had by everyone. I like the Brahmann cow/bull - I haven't seen one of those for years.

Hi Kelly

I have wafted on about Englands country side for long enough now. I can sometimes talk myself into the most unbelievable longing so, enough I thought go out there and find a little country here. I am so glad I did because there is so much beauty right here.

That bull (cow??) is pretty cool!

He was pretty cool and rather skinny too. Shame I am sure he needs to be more plump. I did see them being fed when we stopped to take a look but there were so many other animals fighting for the food bowl. I will keep my eye on it..

Thanks for your comments Tammy
