I thought I would just whip up a knitted hat. My very first. I could not find an easy pattern so I decided to make my own. We presented it to little Rebecca. Now what makes you think I have been knitting too many gnomes lately!
I love the hat! That is so adorable! I love to knit in the round, but I did so much of it over the Winter that I'm taking a big break. I'm working on knitted mice right now b/c we have been reading Stuart Little & my kids want some mice to play with. :)
I want to knit a hat again but this time with a pattern. Mice are too cute when knitted up. I have a few in my shop. It would be a great idea to make a little draw string bag to place each one in. I love to make characters from books. We read 'The wonderful adventures of Nils' I made a Nils and his goose and the children loved it. Its a lovely idea to bring them out when reading.
I love it Suz!!!
